We discussed our plans with several builders before making our decision but were immediately impressed by Shane’s grasp of what we wanted to achieve and his honest and open opinions of what might work and what would not. His excellent communication skills make working with him a pleasure. He is clear with his pricing and completely trustworthy to the point where we went on holidays during the build and had no fear that he would take advantage of our absence.
We did take a risk because as new-comers to Nelson we were not aware of the local market but we were so glad we did. In fact he is back on site helping with an extension!!
Over the past few years he has established a reputation for building to exacting standards at a fair price. It has been rewarding to see his business grow and I have no doubt his contribution to quality buildings in the Nelson area will grow too.
