Builder Shane McBride started M2 Build Nelson in 2008, with 11 years experience working for one of Nelson’s largest building companies under his belt. Shane knows the Nelson building industry inside out, has a wealth of connections within the industry and is well known and respected for the quality of his work and attention to detail.

Shane’s core business philosophy is one of professionalism, communication, attention to detail and high quality results exceeding customer expectations.

He works with a team of highly skilled carpenters and apprentices, chosen because they share the same principles, and are committed to high standards and attention to detail in their building work. He regularly invests in the future of the industry by training high quality apprentices. Shane’s contractors are also chosen for the pride they take in their trade.

Shane’s great strength is his ability to create a solid working relationship with his clients, who often become good friends. Shane is committed to developing open lines of communication with all parties from the initial design stage, through the tendering and building processes.

Leanne Cook

Leanne Cook is an Associate Chartered Accountant who manages the office and administration of M2 Build. Leanne brings professionalism, on time reporting and cost management to the M2 Build team.

Leanne has developed the company’s Health and Safety policies and manages its day to day processes, ensuring that M2 Build work sites are safe, healthy and compliant throughout the building process.
